Your guide to applying to join youthink Incubator Hub.

Why Join youthink?

By participating in youthink, teams will gain a wealth of valuable experiences, skills, and resources including:

  • Innovation expertise: Gather information from your community and develop and test creative solutions
  • Adolescent health knowledge: Learn and apply health equity, social determinants of health, youth engagement, and other key concepts
  • Support network: Work with changemakers and get guidance from experts
  • Funding: Receive up to $50,000 for personnel, community incentives, and other innovation needs
  • Hands-on learning: Engage in 20 hours of virtual training, regular coaching, and cohort calls, and 2 fully funded in-person events
  • Lasting impact: Develop ideas that will benefit young people in your community and beyond

Who should apply to join youthink?

We are looking for teams who are passionate about improving the health of young people in their community. You should apply to join youthink if you:

  • Are part of a team of 3-5 people, ages 18+, that can be supported by an organization
  • Have one or more young people on your team (ages 18-25)
  • Are in the U.S. and its territories
  • Need support and resources to address a challenge in adolescent and young adult health
  • Enjoy learning, being flexible, thinking creatively, and trying new things
  • Are ready to work with us for 8 months for about 20 hours per month

How do I apply to youthink?

Join our email list to get notified when applications open. When they do, create an Ideawake account to begin your application. We recommend using Google Chrome as your browser for the best experience.

Provide the contact details for your teams’ main point of contact (aka the team lead). The application will guide you to answer questions about your proposal and team and provide some administrative information. Feel free to attach any additional materials that showcase your team’s creativity.

Selected teams will be invited to virtual interviews with youthink staff to discuss their ideas.

Teams will be notified about youthink’s final decision. If chosen, your team will start the onboarding process in anticipation of youthink beginning.
